Moving” Contest Rules 

PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST OR TO BE DRAWN. 

  

ARTICLE 1 – Organizer and duration of the contest   

1.1.  The present contest is organized by the Dear Villagers marketing division of the company Plug In Digital, 8bis boulevard Berthelot, 34000 Montpellier, referred to hereafter as the “Organizer”, and is entitled “Moving giveaway” (hereafter the “Contest”), the principle and terms of participation of which are defined in the present rules and regulations (hereafter the “Rules”).  

  

1.2.  The contest starts on November 09, 2022 at 15:00 until November 15, 2022 at 23:00 (UTC+2). Any entry before or after this given period or outside the given platform will not be taken into account. 

 

ARTICLE 2 – Acceptance of the rules  

 

By participating in the Contest, you accept without reservation all the present stipulations of the Rules, which are intended to define the conditions under which the Contest will take place.  

  

 

 ARTICLE 3 – Eligibility   

  

3.1. The “Moving” contest is free of charge and open to any natural person over 18 years old, whatever his nationality, excluding all persons having directly or indirectly participated in the elaboration of the contest, Plug In Digital staff members as well as their close family members (brothers, sisters, children, parents).   

  

3.2. The contest is limited to one participation per person (e.g. same name, same first name and same email address). Participation in the competition is strictly personal and nominative. Only one prize will be awarded to each person designated as a winner. 

  

3.3. Participation in the contest implies irrevocable and unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions of these rules. 

  

3.4. The Contest is subject to the regulations of French law applicable to games and contests. 

  

3.5 The Contest is open to any physical person residing in Europe (excluding Russian territory) and America, and having an active Twitter account. 

  

3.6. Any non-respect of the conditions of participation set out in these Rules will result in the cancellation of the Participant’s entry.   

  

 

 ARTICLE 4 – Contest rules 

   

4.1. Participants must be eligible to take part in the competition (cf. ARTICLE 3).  

  

4.2. In order to enter the Contest, consult the announcement related to this Contest on the Twitter Page @dearvillagers or Instagram page @dearvillagers and follow the instructions to enter.

These two conditions are cumulative and must be done by the participant before Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 23:00 (UTC+2). 

   

 ARTICLE 5 – Designation of winners  

  

5.1. Six (6) winners will be drawn at random by a member of the marketing team organizing the contest (3 for Instagram and 3 for Twitter).   

  

5.5. The Organizer will attempt to inform the potential winner through the registration platform.  

  

 

ARTICLE 6 – Distribution of the prizes and terms of use of the prizes   

  

The Contest Organizer will contact the Winner only by DM Twitter or DM Instagram. They will be informed of their prize and of the procedures to follow to access it from November 16th 2022, 2022. No DM will be sent to participants who did not win, only the winners will be contacted.  

  

The winner will have to answer within three (3) days following the designation of the winner. Without a response from the winner within three (3) days following the designation of the winners, they will no longer be entitled to their prize and will not be able to claim any indemnity, endowment or compensation whatsoever. In this case, the prizes will be awarded to a substitute designated during the draw for the session in question.  

  

The winner must comply with these rules. If they do not meet the criteria of these rules, their prize will not be awarded and will be acquired by the Organizer. To this end, participants authorize all verifications concerning their identity, contact information or the loyalty and sincerity of their participation. Any false declaration, false indication of identity or postal address will result in the immediate elimination of the participant and the acquisition of the prize by the Organizer.  

  

In addition, in the event that the Organizer is unable to deliver the prize to the winner(s), for whatever reason, the Organizer reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value, which any participant agrees to.  

 

  

ARTICLE 7 – Prizes    

  

7.1. Nature of the prizes of the contest per person  

1 Steam Key for Foretales or Souldiers or The Forgotten City 

  

7.2. Each Participant drawn at random by the Organiser, according to the methods described above, will win the following prize. 

  

Each winner will be awarded a steam key of the chosen game 

  

The prizes are strictly personal and are not transferable. Under no circumstances may they be the object of a consideration of any kind whatsoever in whole or in part, of exchange or return for any reason whatsoever. 

  

The Organizer is not responsible if the steam key is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without authorization.  

 

  

ARTICLE 8 – General Conditions  

 

If the operation, security or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way, for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraud, viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problems, or if the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any other reason, as determined by the Organizer in its sole discretion, the Organizer may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Contest to address the issue and then resume the Contest in a manner most consistent with the spirit of these Official Rules, or (b) terminate the Contest and, upon such termination, award the Prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the issue. The Organizer has the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  

   

ARTICLE 9 – Responsibility 

 

Participation in the Contest implies acknowledgement and acceptance of the limits related to the inherent characteristics of electronic communication networks and services, especially regarding browsing, computer data processing, technical performance, consultation of information, risks of interruption, malfunction or malicious intent on the networks, the absence of protection guaranteeing maximum security of data against the risks of misappropriation or aspiration of data or contamination by viruses circulating on electronic communication networks, for which the Organizer cannot be held responsible. 

The Organizer does not guarantee that the services necessary for the conduct of the Contest will function without interruption or that they will be free of defects, partial or total malfunction, or failures, and that any defects noted will be corrected, which the participant expressly acknowledges. 

  

In any event, the Organizer’s liability is strictly limited to the delivery of the prizes legitimately won by the winners.  

  

This Contest is in no way sponsored, approved, administered or associated with Twitter. 

   

ARTICLE 10 – Other information  

  

The present rules may be sent free of charge to any person who makes a written request. The request may be sent by electronic or by mail to the following address: Plug In Digital, 8bis boulevard Berthelot, 34000 Montpellier 

  

The Organizer has the right to edit these Rules at any time and will notify Participants of any changes to these Rules. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, suspend or cancel the Contest, without prior notice, in particular in the event of a malfunction that prevents the Contest from taking place as provided for in the Rules or if the Organizer’s service providers are unable to ensure the continuity of the services required for the Contest to take place. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from participation in the Contest any person who disrupts the proper conduct of the Contest (including, but not limited to, posting hateful or illegal content, creating multiple accounts in an attempt to increase the chances of winning the Contest, etc.) and to take legal action against any person who attempts to, or is found to have cheated, defrauded, or disrupted the Contest. Exclusion from the Contest will result in the loss of any prizes obtained.  

  

 

ARTICLE 11 – Legal status 

  

The present Rules are subject to French law. In case of a conflict, only the French courts have jurisdiction. If one or more of the stipulations of the present Rules are declared invalid or declared invalid in application of a law or regulation or following a court decision that has become final, the other stipulations will remain in force and will continue to apply.
